The Birth of CKM: Embracing Nepali Classics and Nourishing Babies

In the charming city of Itahari, nestled in the heart of Nepal, two culinary enthusiasts, Ambika Subedi and Rita Mishra, discovered their shared passion for cooking cel roti. As sisters-in-law, they not only cherished the traditional dish but also embraced their responsibilities with joy and dedication.

The year was 2073 when fate led them to an opportunity to showcase their cooking skills. As members of the esteemed 'Mayako Ghar' organization, they volunteered to prepare the celebratory feast for the anniversary event. Ambika Subedi took the lead, promising to craft and serve her delectable cel roti. The attendees were left enchanted by the mouthwatering selroti and anarsha prepared by them. Word quickly spread about the heavenly taste of their cel roti, captivating the taste buds of the Itahari locals.

It was a turning point when one of the event participants, delighted by their cel roti, placed an order for 100 pieces for a puja ceremony in his home. Rita Mishra promptly fulfilled the order, delivering the scrumptious cel roti to the patron's doorstep. The resounding praise and appreciation for their culinary prowess encouraged them to take a professional leap.

In no time, requests for their cel roti began flooding in from different corners of Itahari, Dharan, and Biratnagar. The trio decided to formalize their passion and registered their venture as the 'Chandrama Kosheli and Masala Udyog'. As their popularity soared, supermarkets in the region sought to stock their mouthwatering sel roti.

Yet, they didn't confine themselves to only cel roti. Ambika and Rita saw the potential to expand their culinary endeavors further. Their company ventured into producing an array of traditional delights like anarsa, sutkeri masala, turmeric, lentils, corn rice, and barley, catering to the diverse tastes of Nepalese society.

In their quest to embrace Nepali culinary heritage, they realized another pressing need in society. Working mothers faced challenges in preparing quality homemade, nutritious food for their babies. To address this, CKMFoods stepped in, introducing a new segment exclusively for babies. They expertly crafted fresh, sugar-free baby lito and cerlac, easing the burden for working moms with babies up to 8 months old.

In this remarkable journey, CKMFoods not only empowered women but also nurtured the next generation with their wholesome and authentic delicacies. Their commitment to Nepali classics and their devotion to nourishing families have cemented CKMFoods as a treasured institution in the hearts of the people they serve.
